A Few Words From Our Customers
Your presentation was awesome-I heard that from everyone as well. I would like to continue the relationship with you and Rob. The board and I both need the help.
Thank you for allowing me to sit in. I really enjoyed it, not only was it very helpful and germane to what Executive Director’s should know, but it was presented in a very easy-to-digest manner.
I learned a lot at the class and found it incredibly valuable. Thanks so much!
We, too, have used Jeff and Rob from Leading Associations for board facilitation, board retreat planning, legislative prioritization planning and board leadership resources. You won’t find many better.
I would highly recommend Leading Associations located here in Denver. One of the owners Jeff Arnold, CAE is past president of CSAE and they are actively involved with the association. I have participated in their Board bootcamp and have heard amazing reviews on their board training programs.
NFA learned a great deal from Rob Spangler and Leading Associations. LA was key in helping to develop the NFA Board. Leading Associations was able to give NFA direction that will help our association and members thrive into the future. I found that Rob Spangler worked very well under pressure and in helping us to put together the most innovative conventions our organization had ever seen.
Thank you Jeff. We really appreciate your facilitation. I feel like this year’s strategic planning was much more productive than years past.
“The root of joy is gratefulness” – David Steindl-Rast
In June 2011, Jeff Arnold facilitated a board of directors strategic planning meeting for the International Erosion Control Association that was professionally prepared and skillfully executed. With very little background furnished by IECA and no previous interaction with our organization, Jeff was well prepared and insightful of our issues. Our board consists of nine elected representatives from around the world and represent a wide variety of opinions and cultures. A strategic document outline was prepared from his notes and many of the ideas and suggestions are being implemented with various task forces and committees. We have already seen results from this effort and expect even more results in the months to come. The IECA President has initiated a follow-up leadership summit during our conference in February of 2012 which will yield additional results toward a more effective and meaningful organization both in structure and action.
I thought my biggest commitment as a Director was time. I was wrong. I now have true appreciation for my responsibilities in this role. Thanks again for the many lessons gained during last Friday’s boot camp. I learned so much and came away with the feeling of a board being a place of opportunity for an organization. I appreciate the packet of resources, as well as the benefit of lessons your team has acquired through experience. You guys are pros, and I’m going to try very hard to get you in the budget to present something to our entire board.
I can think of three other boards of which I am a member that could vastly benefit from this training! Thank you. A very worthwhile day!
I’ve thought about your program and it was excellent on all fronts – the content was excellent but the delivery style was exceptional. You truly keep the interest and dialog active.
So, I just had to stop today to say ‘thank you again.’ It was that good!
Thank you so much, Jeff for facilitating our Board Leadership Retreat. It was a highly productive day and we appreciate your generous and skillful service.
“I appreciated how Leading Associations jumped in wholeheartedly with both feet in order to learn the ins and outs of our industry. Their diligence led to our association having its best convention in years and a surge in membership as well.”
I read your announcement in the June Advisor and want to congratulate you! How exciting to be taking your business to the next level! I want to personally thank you and your firm for the strategic approach you have taken with CHRA. As you know, many moons ago, that is why we hired you. I’m so glad for your involvement to help the organization grow and stay cutting edge! Please keep in touch and let me hear about your new ventures. I would also be willing to offer any support to the BOD as they embark on the selection process for a new management firm. Cheers to you and a great partnership!!
Thank you again for all of your help through the Executive Director transition. Your professionalism and thoughtfulness through this process has been greatly appreciated by the Board and especially by me. I have enjoyed working with you.
