Rob Spangler is a seasoned leader of membership organizations, associations, and non-profits. Having served in every capacity within an association Rob brings years of hands on experience developing and managing organizations for success. His areas of expertise are organizational planning, financial management, member services/recruitment, public/media relations, publications, event management and volunteer management.
Rob is the Chief Operating Officer of Leading Associations, a full-service association management and association/non-profit services company and Vice President of Sales and Marketing for The Sales Association. He is also a member of the board of directors of the Carson J. Spencer Foundation.
Previously, Rob served as Executive Director of National Finance Adjusters (NFA), overseeing its revitalization bringing significant enhancements to market penetration, technology, programming and leadership development. And prior to that, Rob served as the Executive Director of the Colorado Human Resource Association for ten years. Rob coordinated tremendous achievements during his tenure. He created their annual convention and developed it to the largest HR convention in the central United States. He focused on member satisfaction, event participation and association image. CHRA’s increased revenue is accompanied by sound cost controls. Rob also helped co-found The Sales Association in 2008, a national association providing education and professional development for sales and business development professionals.
Rob earned a Masters in Public Administration from the University of Colorado at Denver and two Bachelor of Arts degrees from Fort Lewis College.
